Souvenir Tattoos in Prague
Not a catalogue flash. A custom piece drawn around the city, the literature and the light you came for.
Getting tattooed while travelling has a long tradition, but a trip to Prague deserves more than an impulsive pick from a wall of designs. We are a studio that shares Franz Kafka's name in his home town, and our artists draw original pieces around Prague's architecture, its literature and its symbols, sized to fit comfortably into one sitting of your trip.A custom Prague piece, drawn for you and sized for one sitting. Open daily near Můstek.

Subtle ages better than loud
The strongest travel tattoos are the ones that mean something quietly. Small graphic details and understated linework age far better than dense blocks of text or literal postcard scenes, and they read as personal rather than touristy.
Prague gives you plenty to work with: the stone skyline, the Gothic archways of Charles Bridge, the rings of the Old Town Astronomical Clock, and a literary history anchored by Kafka. In fine line or stipple shading, these sit gracefully on forearms, ribs and calves without feeling heavy.
Because you are travelling, we plan around your time. We keep the design to a size that fits one sitting, we tell you how to care for it on the road, and we help you choose a date that leaves you free to enjoy the city afterwards.

Getting tattooed on a trip: your questions
Walk-ins are welcome every day, and same-day sessions are often possible. For a custom piece we recommend writing first so the design is ready when you arrive.
Keep the design to something that fits one sitting of two to three hours. Larger pieces can be started in Prague and finished on another visit.
Flying is generally fine if you keep the area clean and moisturised. Avoid pools, hot tubs and the sea for six weeks and keep the tattoo out of direct sun.
Toward the end. You can explore without worrying about fresh ink, and the first days of healing happen on your way home.
We prefer drawing something original for you. Tell us what you like and we will design it around you.
Small pieces are quick to price: tell us the size and placement, and we confirm a specific estimate at the consultation.
Tell us your dates. We will draw your Prague.
